Legacy United Cybertron universe Starscream! I’m not super familiar with Cybertron. I heard everyone rejoicing at the return of the planet keys! It’s a silly little transparent accessory that can plug into his gun & the back of the figure. It no longer activates a gimmick, however it’s cool to see it there. Seems to play a big part of the lore & makes the figure feel complete.

Bot-Mode is built & bulky, while simultaneously being scrawny. A very slender set of legs & torso toped by the biggest shoulders you’ve ever seen! There’s a little bit of an animated vibe to his proportions. Articulation is phenomenal! He has everything; waist, wrists, ankles. I especially love all the articulation in the shoulders. You can do all the Starscream poses with his Energon swords, instead of arm mounted Null rays. Pretty wicked!

Conversion overall is intuitive & fun. I was really confused how the cockpit mode flips out. It’s really more like the back of the robot flips open. Then you can crunch the legs in, then the arms & you’re a Tetrajet master!

Alt-Mode looks like a really cool a boxy Tetrajet full of angles! Super fun to woosh around the room! He has a strange scoop at the bottom of the alt-mode formed by the back leg covers. I’m not sure if that is accurate to the animation. I don’t think a spacecraft needs a giant air intake, but it’s there. Overall I’ve had a blast with this dude. I love getting all these characters from different continuities mashed together on my shelf!
