Legacy United Silverbolt! I’m so thrilled to have an update to this character on my shelf! Beast Wars fans have been really spoiled since the kingdom toy-line. Silverbolt comes with loads of improvements. The most notable is a waste swivel. I also love that the mode bot-mode head is larger and better proportioned.

Conversion is really intuitive! The process takes a lot of cues from the original toy & animation, while updating it just enough. The biggest difference is the legs no longer split in two. Overall, this works great! It does make the beast mode a little thinner with more narrow shoulders. I think it works, & the larger Robot head & waist swivel are totally worth the change!

Beast mode is fairly well articulated. I love the mix of wolf & bird. Would have been nice if they could get a little more articulation out of the beast mode neck and front claws. Not a dealmaker by any means, but it would be nice if he could grip things in his claws.
