Legacy United Victory Universe Dinoking
Legacy United Dinoking! I love the scale of the core class combined mode. I sure hope we see more of these! Dinoking is exceptional. This set comes with better hands & feet for the combined mode. They are a huge improvement over the bits included with the core class Dinobots. Only downside is the feet aren’t connected super solid & pop off easily.
The Dinoking color scheme really pops & the blue head-sculpt with red eyes has a piercing evil stare. Articulation is surprisingly good. Other than the elbow rotation that is a bit gummed up by kibble. He’s got knees, elbows, ankles & wrists. Even waist rotation.
I hope we see a boxed set version of core Volcanicus. I’ve really enjoyed this set! Transforming all the individual bots & combining them them over & over. Getting the whole combiner team in one go is so much fun, load of play in one package! This set is an easy recommend in my opinion.
Legacy United Goryu! Leader of the Dinoforce! The head-sculpt is very distinct & evil with his red visor. Bot mode is a solid chunk! I dig the painted feet, they really help the bot mode proportions. Wrist articulation is also a nice Core class bonus for some slick posing!
Conversion is very simple. Twist the wrists, fold up the legs. Plug on the tail & that’s it! Alt-mode is a dumpy Rex with a very blocky square tail & weird neck bulges. Overall its a massively compromised to be core scale. That said, even with the compromises I’d love to see more Core scale combiner bots!
Legacy United Doryu! Enthusiastic go-getter of the Dinoforce team! I dig the cold mechanical blue & white color scheme. The face sculpt nails it & truly differentiates this got from Snarl. Bot-Mode proportions & articulation are top notch for a core Class figure.
Conversion is quick & easy. Swing the halves of the beast head out from the legs. Fold the legs up, crunch up the arms & that’s it! Alt-mode is a rad little stegosaurus, that looks fantastic! Easily the best stand-alone bot in this set.
Legacy United Gairyu! The Dinoforce defensive strategist. Bot-mode is solid! I dig the clever smirk & red visor. The green army deco really pops!
Conversion is quick & easy. Spin the waist and fold up the legs. Flip down the front Dino legs. That’s pretty much it! Alt-mode is an armored ankylosaurus with a fist for a club tail! I dig the upgraded tail, it adds a lot, especially to the combine mode.
Legacy United Yokuryu! Air support for the Dinoforce! Bot-mode looks fantastic with excellent proportions & decent articulation. He looks pure evil in a primarily skeletal white deco with red eyes.
Conversion is quick and painless. Fold the legs behind his back. Plug the arms along each side. Fold up the beast head & you’re done. He whooshes around the room nicely. This is probably the member of this set with the cleanest modes.
Legacy United Rairyu! Bot-mode is absolutely terrible. Easily the worst in this set. Honestly I feel kind of sorry for him with his fake thighs & huge hip kibble. As a result his articulation is quite limited. Definitely takes one for the team and the combined mode. I love the deco! The white black & gold really works well together!
Conversion is very simple. Pulled up the legs fold in the arms. snap it all together & flip up the beast mode head. Brontosaurus mode is stumpy & adorable! Doesn’t get off much better than the bot-mode unfortunately. Overall Rairyu is a necessary evil for the good of the set.
Legacy United Kakuryu! Bumbling stooge of the Dinoforce! Bot-mode is solid, with great articulation & proportions for this scale. I dig the gold, black & silver deco! The face sculpt is rad! Very Grimlock.
Conversion is quick & painless. Spin the arms around. Fold in the robot legs. Then flip up the beast mode jaw. Alt-mode is a fantastic looking triceratops. He’s a little gappy from the side & the combiner head really stands out on the tail. Other than that he’s really solid!
