Legacy United Soundwave 4-Pack
Legacy United Soundwave! Bot-mode looks fantastic with his blocky design and menacing face mantel. Articulation is solid! Only thing really missing are wrists. The arms have vestigial spacecraft landing gear from the Siege version, but it doesn’t affect the figure too much.
Conversion is really fun! Fold in the hands & feet. Spin the waist. Fold in the head & fold back the arms. Crunch the legs up on either side & he’s a tape player!
Alt-mode looks great! A bit kibble ridden from the back. Tapes fit nicely & the tape deck controls really sell the illusion. This alt-mode always cracks me up because it’s so massively out of date. My children have never even seen a Discman, or an iPod for that matter. Overall, it’s just nice to have this version more available.
Legacy United Buzzsaw! At last Buzzsaw joins Soundwave & his Spy Patrol! Bird mode is a slick Lazerbeak repaint in yellow. I appreciate the nice detail of the tiny Decepticon logo on his head!
Conversion is really easy couple of steps. Fold in the wings. Fold down the head, boosters & legs, that’s it! Cassette mode is an unremarkable flat rectangle. It does fit nicely in Soundwave’s chest. What more could you ask for?
Legacy United Rumble! Bot-mode looks great! More evil in his darker blue toy colors. The face scope is solid & articulation is decent for such a little guy. My only nitpick is no elbow articulation
Conversion is really clever. Fold down the head & fold up the shoulders. Fold in the hands & collapse the arms. Fold in the feet & bend the legs onto either side. You’re left with, surprise, a rectangle! Alt-mode does what it needs to do. I really appreciate the cassette tape details!
Legacy United Ravage! Beast mode is a wily kitty with armor kibble plates on each leg. The painted teeth & eyes are a nice touch. Say cheese!
Conversion is pretty simple. Although there are some specific order of operations steps with tight clearance. I dig that this version of ravage bothers with cassette tape paint apps. Really adds a lot to the look of the otherwise unremarkable flat rectangular tape mode.
