Legacy Evolution Commander Class, Armada Optimus Prime!
There is so much going on with this set! I really dig all the play gimmicks. A smaller Robot, a battle base, a large power armor suit! This set does everything!

Optimus Prime’s Bot-mode is looking good, with arched shoulders & a blue hip skirt. I’m not super familiar with the Armada lore, but Optimus comes complete with Matrix! Only tricky part with converting this guy is the small panels on his shoulders. Works well enough, but they easily pop-off & can be a little fiddly. Other than that, it’s a pretty strait forward. Fold everything into a long rectangle and crunch in the arms.

The alt-mode is a sci-fi truck cab, it really comes together with the massive trailer. The trailer in itself has a ton of play features! I really enjoy the base mode! It even seems to have a command chair for a small bot or a human (not included).

This set truly shines with the combined trailer power armor “Super Mode” gimmick. Optimus Prime can transform into a torso & the trailer into a pair of giant pants! Everything slots together & buttons up securely in a super satisfying way! He's massive & super detailed. Articulation is fair, hampered slightly by his large butt-flap. The combined form has quite the presence! A road warrior Samurai! A welcome addition to the shelf.
